Special Education Teaching Position
LaCrosse Schools has a .5 K-12 Special Education Teacher/Title Director position open for the 2018-2019 school year. At a minimum, requirements for this position include a current Washington State Teaching Certification with proper endorsements, including Special Education, with an understanding of IEP development, reassessments and experience assessing and evaluating for SPED services according to WAC’s. Music and Fine Arts Teaching Position
LaCrosse School District has an opening for a full time K-12 Music and Fine Arts teaching position with a possibility of Spanish for the 2018-2019 school year. Substitute Bus Drivers
The LaCrosse School District has openings for substitute school bus drivers. Driver candidates must be at least 21 years of age, pass a DOT physical, have a valid drivers license with school bus driver endorsement. Successful completion of school bus driver training programs as established by the State Superintendent of Public Instruction and training programs and courses as offered by the district’s Transportation Department. Pay rate for substitutes is $18.63 while driving and $11.00 during sitting time.
